Anniversary Party

Busy, Busy week!! We are getting ready for my Aunt and Uncle's 25th wedding anniversary! 

The theme is tropical cruise because they went on a cruise for their honeymoon!

To Do:

-put together wooden boat

-paint lobsters

-clean basement (family is staying with us)

-find tropical outfit

-make cake

...I know there is more but I've got to get going!

Peach Pickin'

I love picking fresh fruit!

There is nothing better than fruit right off the tree/vine/bush!

Last weekend we took a day trip to Michigan to pick some peaches and other goodies! We went to Tree-Mendus Fruit. We have been there before and love everything they grow!

We picked peaches- the regular kind and a white peach, apricots and blackberries. Yummmmmm!

If you have tried pickin fruit, I recommend it! Great family trip for any age!

The 4th!

I just love the Fourth of July! I love summer food, too! YUM!

We had an awesome pool party. Luckily it didn't rain too much and just a few sprinkles!

Showers and Flowers

The weather has been BAD the last few nights. I haven't seen hail this large in my life!

But with the rain... also comes beautiful flowers! Roses are lovely!

It is finally sunny! Thank you God! I feel alive and so much less tired. My goal is to start having more energy and be more in shape. Run later??

Edit: Yeah no running for me... more like a casual walk with my mother and Sparkey.
